How we measured this week's punctuality

These figures come from TrainLiveStatus's own delay history for 7 days, 26 September to 2 October 2026. Of 2,021 trains in scope, 848 had enough data to be ranked. For each train and each day we take the largest delay reported during that day's run, in minutes. A day counts as on time if that figure is within 15 minutes. We then rank trains by their average maximum daily delay. This is our internal tracking of live running status reports, not an official railway statistic.

One caution before the list: a train is ranked on the days we actually observed it, which ranged from 3 to 6 days for the top five. A short run of good days is a weaker signal than a full month, so read the list as this week's snapshot only.
