Garib Rath trains punctuality, 29 Oct to 4 Nov 2026: our data
How 15 Garib Rath trains ran from 29 October to 4 November 2026 in our own delay tracking, with the method, sample days and each train's average delay.

What we measured and how
This report covers the Garib Rath trains in our delay tracking for the seven days from 29 October to 4 November 2026. For each train we record the largest delay reported during that day's run. A day counts as on time when that largest delay is within 15 minutes.
This is our own tracking, not an official Indian Railways statistic. We have 45 Garib Rath trains in scope, and 27 had enough reports to be ranked. Across the ranked trains, the average largest daily delay was 96 minutes, and 23% were on time as we count it. Railway zones publish their own figures, which can differ from ours.
The 15 Garib Rath trains with the largest delays
The table ranks trains by their average largest daily delay. "Days observed" is the number of the seven days we hold a report for, so a train with a low count rests on fewer runs. None of the trains recorded a cancelled day in this window.

What the numbers show
The two Garib Rath services between Bhagalpur and Anand Vihar Terminal sit at the top of the list. The Anand Vihar-bound train, 22405, averaged 7 h 25 min of largest delay, and the Bhagalpur-bound 22406 averaged 6 h 33 min. Neither was on time on any observed day. Both recorded a worst day of 716 minutes, which is just under 12 hours.
The other trains in the list are much closer to a few hours. The Saharsa Jn to Amritsar Garib Rath Express (12203) averaged 4 h 47 min. The Garib Rath trains on the Lucknow to Raipur, Raipur to Lucknow, Jabalpur, Ranchi and Delhi routes mostly averaged between about 100 and 135 minutes.

Only a few trains reached the on-time mark on any day. Three trains, 12436, 12536 and 12877, were on time on one day in four. The Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam Garibrath Express (12740) was the only train in the list observed on all seven days. It had a 14% on-time rate and an average largest delay of 46 minutes.

How to use this report
- Check the live status on the day. A week of data does not tell you how the train will run on your date. Use the train page for its running position.
- Read the days observed. A train seen on three days is a less solid guide than one seen on all seven.
- Compare the alternatives. The trip planner lists other trains and connections between the same stations.

Frequently asked questions
How is the Garib Rath delay figure calculated?
We record the largest delay reported for each train during each day's run, then average those daily figures across the days we observed the train. A day counts as on time when the largest delay is within 15 minutes.
Is this an official Indian Railways figure?
No. It comes from TrainLiveStatus's own delay tracking. It is not an official statistic, and railway zones publish their own figures.
Which Garib Rath train had the lowest average delay in this window?
The KOL Garib Rath (13128) had the lowest average largest delay in the list, at 35 minutes, but it was observed on five days and was on time on one of them. The Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam Garibrath Express (12740) was observed on all seven days, with an average of 46 minutes and an on-time rate of 14%.
Why does the number of observed days vary?
Our records for each train depend on how many days in the window we hold a running report for it. Trains with fewer observed days give a less certain average, so read them alongside the worst day and the on-time column.
